Studio Usage
First of all, sorry to all choreographers who have booked Studio 16 on Tuesday and Thursday night
Because we can't use the studio on these two days due to DanceSports CCA
Hence, Mr Tan have helped us booked another place at Blk 18, room 04-09 and 04-10
However, your slots will be change to Saturday and Sunday
So please email or sms me for those choreograhpers who are affected if you are okay with the change so that i can update the calendar asap and get everyone involved informed
Once everything is finalised i will mass email everyone on the timeslot again

Please include your costume themes, colour, type of material(shiny/matte)
If possible arrange them and have a picture taken of it so that Mingli can roughly draw it out to help you all keep track before she does the budgeting.
2. Write ups

Can you guys please send me a short/simple write up on yourself (eg how long you have dance and what competition you have joined) as it would be included in the brouchures
Lastest to send me by this friday (29/2/08)
3.Songs
Please send your edited songs to JiaJun(guardian31221@hotmail.com) so that he can start to compile the songs
4. Individual leaders for your item
It would be nice if you could assign a leader/assisstant to your own item so that there is someone responsible for your item
Then, you need not be so stressed over choreograhping and making sure everyone attend
I will pass all of you your item namelistso that you can keep track on the attendance

Request(s): Only the Female dancers involved to start training w her first. Male dancers, dont need to turn up for this.
Choreographers:
We are allowed to use gymwerks from friday till Mid march (unless aerobics club have booked any slots, but so far dont have)
If you need to make any cancellations/ booking of studio n time slot, do drop Hannah (98511492) a msg. Check your mails for available slots.

1) Choreographers
DATELINE:
-75% of choreo ready by 22nd Feb
-full item taught--mid-march
-cleaned--6th apr (get cracking!)
-each one is i/c for own item(s) costume, make-up, music mix & training
-please appoint assistant(s) to help the item progress efficiently as you plan
2) Dancers
- Training starts tentatively 22nd Feb onwards
-Posting of training dates will be up before 22nd
-brush up on em basics
-be "dance-ready" when u meet choreographers!
-<75%>, you're OUT of the item
-Manage your time well, esp if you've multiple items!
3) Main Comm for S&D
-There will be a meeting straight after exams!

For now it's serious business, because it has got to do with the listing for the Song and Dance Concert
Ann has made major changes to it and yours truly have updated them again, so do re-look out for the changes/additions to the listing ya?. This would be the final "inclusion" of dancers so anyone who wants to join the Song and Dance concert for now will be our very own backstage or usher. cos date due for request is over. Also, as the list is final, Ann expects us to commit n not do last minutes disappearance acts or say can't commit last minute as its really unpro. If anyone does tt for a reason tts not valid enuff (as in like say last min cannot commit) they will be taken out of the whole concert n not just their own item(s). Note to choreographers:
I will have to start the booking of all the choreographers' time and slots everyday .. likely weekends will be burnt. cos some of you may work so you may only be able to start 730 or 830 even. SO those who not working one can start earlier.
Ann dun want ppl to come n go as they like cos the timing really very tight so she only give every choreographer till end March latest to complete all song n showcase items. She will have a separate meeting with the choreographers to brief you guys (:

I need to trouble all of you to give me advanced bookings til show time. For now, it's the study break and exams weeks for current students, so rehearsal might only start after the 22nd. Ann is taking every Wednesday and Thursday evenings 730-1030 for her items. How long the you guys want to take each session is up to you but this Ann will brief you all too, eg. to have a 2-hr session is definitely not sufficient.
As for studio usage wise, I will ask Mr. Tan if we can have more studio so that everyone gets a fair share of the aircons and mirrors.
Note to All:
Please acknowledge that the slots are rehearsal slots and not 'class slots' where everyone takes their own sweet time to learn choreo. Ann will expect everyone including the choreographers to be able to pick up the steps taught quickly if not the show will definitely be postponed.

TP is having their own dance production this march holiday and Ann has help us book 100 tickets on 15th March (Saturday)

There's a message form our dear treasurer Xing that the shirts will be delayed due to some problem with the manufacturers but promised they will be done before Song and Dance
SO people, let's wait patiently ya? (:

Okay okay okay~~
I know everyone is very excited about the list for Song and Dance concert.
It will be held on the 17th and 18th April 2008 at NP Convention Centre
But before i reveal the list, there are some things to take note of ^^ :
1.As we all know, Song and Dance is a NRA event and as a big family, anyone and everyone from NRA can take part. So if anyone of you are still in contact with these members kindly ask them if they would like to come back and dance with us ya? Would be nice if you guys can confirm with Peggy by Wednesday(6feb)
2.Note to the choreographers for their item:
Ann wants all the items to be ready by the end of March, so that leaves us with one month to prepare for it. All choreographers are to make bookings n arrange their rehearsal schedules with every dancer and can also decide whether they will want assistant leaders to help them in their training. Basically she wants the chorepgraphers to take care of all aspects of the item - choreography, teaching & training every dancer, and costume design. So bookings can be made to Peggy (xiao_hun_hun@hotmail.com, 94248448) and she will arrange and post them on the blog.
3. Item issues: Basically this time round Ann wont be catering to small issues like 'I don't like tt person so i dun want to be in the same item', so you guys should take this list as more or less the final one unless due to commitment probs like you cannot handle so many items, then changes may be able to be made.
